Dental School?

I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. I will graduate high school with an associates in arts degree from a community college next December. I have recently decided I want to become either a dentist or an orthodontist. I was wondering if anyone on here could tell me what the next step would be? Do I need to get a bachelors degree before i go to dental school? And if so what would be the best major. I had originally thought pre-professional biology but I am not sure now. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Dental School?
Dental schools require a bachelor's degree. As for your major, choose something that you like and are interested in. Just make sure to take the necessary predental prereqs (bio, chem, orgo, physics). I heard that dental schools may actually prefer students with non-science majors. I also heard that a lot of dental schools now require some psychology courses and calculus courses. If you have any more questions, you can talk to your predental or premed advisor if your college has one. Hope that helped.
