Is this a good or bad result for a sinus CT scan?

The nasal septum is midline and the intranasal soft tissues are not significantly thickened.

A large polypoidal soft tissue lesion is present in the right maxillary antrum consistent with a mucosal polyp or cyst. A small Haller cell is noted on this side. Minor mucosal thickening is present in the left antrum. The ostiomeatal complexes are patent although there is some narrowing of the draining ostium bilaterally.

The other paranasal sinuses appear clear and the postnasal soft tissues appear normal.

Appart from periapical dental pathology associated with the maxillary left second premolar, no other bony or soft tissue abnormality it detected.

...Other than needing to have dental work done...What does this mean? Do I need to have any surgery?

Is this a good or bad result for a sinus CT scan?
u have a cyst (fluid filled membrane)in upper jaw cavity u have sinusitis plus the teeth problem

get the dental work done first take medicines then if it is resolving and has no symptoms no need for surgery

discuss with ur doc
