Does it make a difference if you are certified or registered or have an associate degree? Also what things can you get certified in besides being able to take x-rays of teeth?
What things can make a dental assistant salary go up?
For your salary to increase, I would reccomend going through an accredited dental assisting program. In Kentucky, an assistant can be certified to take x-rays, place fillings, take impressions, and coronal polishing. Experience is also a big factor in salary.
